Tony Moly - Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream SPF 30 PA++ Review

Hi everyone!

Today I'll be reviewing one of Korean CC Cream, it's Tony Moly - Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream.

As mentioned in Wikipedia, CC itself means Color Control or Color Correcting cream. It claim to reduce the appearance of skin redness or to improve uneven skin tone. But on Tony Moly sample's packaging it's written CC= Color Change.

Perhaps because this CC Cream will change its color, (according to what they advertised) so that they wrote CC for Color Change :D

It's original size is a 50ml-pump bottle. Price: KRW 16,800 / around USD 16

The texture of this CC cream is quite creamy, not runny at all. I put some on my hand, wait around 3 minutes, walk to dining room to drink some waters, and the cream was stay still, LOL.
If you noticed, there are little dots on this cream.

Can you see those tiny dots? Click to enlarge the pic

Those dots are capsules which will burst and change color when you spread this CC Cream

BEFORE
AFTER
As you can see, after using  this CC Cream, my hand become more luminous, a bit pinkish and feels moist.

Now COVERAGE TEST! Let's see how good this CC Cream's coverage.

 I put two black dots using Etude House LUCIDarling Fantastic Brush Eyeliner

DONE

Well, unfortunately this CC cream has really poor coverage. You can differentiate the before-after pictures by looking at those slightly sparkles on my hand after CC Cream application.

CONCLUSION
This CC Cream will probably look great on fair-and-smooth skin peoples, but not for me and another woman with some dark spots or acne marks. Believe me, those luminous effect won't look good on our skin because this CC Cream doesn't cover dark spots. Ok, maybe its cover up, very slightly.

Pros:
* Make skin glow / dewy finish
* Moisturizing
* Brighten up the skin
* Has SPF 30 PA++
* Not pricey

Cons
- Doesn't cover dark spots
- More suitable for dry to normal skin, because oily skin will get more oily with this CC Cream (my experience, particularly on hot / sunny days)
- Only suitable for fair and smooth skin (imho ^^)

Thank you for reading this review. Does any of you can recommend me a good CC Cream with good coverage? Let me know!
❥ xoxo
